Our reports are digital goods. Downloads and access begin immediately on purchase, so the following applies.

1. When we refund

Defective files: the file is corrupt, incomplete or materially different from its description, and we cannot supply a working replacement within [5 business days – confirm].
Undelivered files: you paid but did not receive a working download link, and we cannot fix this within [48 hours – confirm].
Pre-orders not published within [30 days – confirm] of the stated date, on request.
Duplicate charges for the same order.

2. Factual errors

If you report a factual error that we confirm, we correct it in our public corrections log and give you a free report credit.

3. When we do not refund

Apart from the cases above, we cannot offer refunds once a download link has been issued or used, including for a change of mind.

4. Subscriptions

[Confirm: pro-rata refund within 14 days if no reports have been downloaded; otherwise no refund for the current term. Cancelling stops renewal.]

5. Rapid Scan orders

6. Cooling-off rights

Because supply of digital content begins immediately on purchase, with your consent, the cooling-off right in section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 does not apply, in line with the exemptions in section 42 for goods or services made to the consumer's specification and for digital content where supply has begun. This does not affect the refunds in section 1 or your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.

7. How to request a refund

Email [email protected] within [14 days – confirm] with your order reference. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through [payment provider – Payfast or Gumroad, confirm; see CHECKOUT.md].

Your statutory rights are not affected.
